Time to be discharged

I am on cloud 9. Our little bubby behaved so well during the scan and let them get all the measurements needed. Ventricles are back down to 11 and 10 (l and r) so back in the normal range really!!!!! This is amazing news. I feel like I could actually cry.

I could not have asked for a better outcome on this.
His spine also looks great, with fluid flowing. His head is starting to lose the lemon shape a little and the size of the head is already catching up with where it should be. Everything is going amazingly and I am so glad we had the surgery. It has really made me feel like the risks were worth it and I feel very positive about this little warrior!

Waiting for my meds to come back and then it’s time to get discharged and go home!!!!!

After waiting 5 hours for my meds to be prescribed I have finally been discharged. It is now 8pm and we have at least 2 hours of driving to get home. But I have a pillow on my stomach to protect my wound and am sooooo happy!

I left my feedback form for them and was very honest. As mentioned before I also called out the good drs, nurses and midwives and got them cake 😜 So good to be going home, can’t wait to see my babies, have normal food and my own bed!

Over the moon.
